Frank was born at 7:58 on a winter morning in June in Panama City, Panama. Panama has a tropical maritime climate with a hot, humid, cloudy prolonged rainy season called “winter” that starts in May and ends in December. Summer, or the dry season, happens from December to May. Panama’s hot weather is perfect for outdoor activities like snorkeling, parasailing and beach volleyball. Sorry, back to Frank.
After graduating with a creative writing degree from Florida State University, Frank worked for several banks in Panama as a marketing VP. Later, he decided to quit and go back to the moment when he said, “Advertising, marketing? Potatoe, potatoe.” He joined Miami Ad School, this time as an Art Director with a huge passion for copywriting. He had the opportunity of interning at places like SapientNitro, Alma DDB, JWT NY and Saatchi & Saatchi NY. His work has been recognized by Clio Awards, The One Show, New York Festivals, YGA, the ADDYs, Dannes Lions, Wave Festival, Applied Arts, Young Glory and Graphis, among others.
Frank currently works at Droga5 as a Creative Hybrid for brands such as Coach, SheaMoisture, Hillary Clinton, Clearasil, NBTY, Prudential & Motorola.
As a southern Italian, Giulia can confirm that chicken parmigiana is not an Italian dish. She is a huge fan of the morning in general. She adores breakfast, but it has to be sweet. Sorry, Americans, that means no bacon.
Fruit, gummy bears and cats make her incredibly happy, but that doesn’t mean she is into fruity, gummy cats. Sometimes, she has dance attacks, so don’t question her—just dance, even if there’s no music.
After finishing college in Italy and traveling a bit around the world, she decided to move to America to start Miami Ad School as an Art Director. She was lucky enough to work in New York City in different agencies such as JWT, Saatchi & Saatchi and 360i.
Giulia’s work has been recognized by Clio Awards, The One Show, New York Festivals, ADDY, YGA Award and Dannes Lions (this is not a typo, this is a real award with the founder’s face on a lion’s body, covered in gold) among others. Business Insider named Giulia on the "30 under 30: Most Creative people in Advertising."
