Popeyes - sweet dixie kitchen

In 2017, a small southern-themed restaurant in Long Beach, California became a national media fixation

when the owner got busted for reheating Popeyes fried chicken tenders and serving them to customers.

​

In 2018, the restaurant was busted for a second time.

 

So, in 2019,  we decided to team with this small southern themed restaurant in Long Beach, California,

to launch the Popeyes Chicken Sandwich.

​

The rest is history.

Humans and even non-humans went crazy for The Sandwich. 

 

So much Popeyes QUICKLY ran out of it.

And of course, people didn't take it very well.

So, many took the matter in their own hands.

Including celebrities. Which is kind of bizarre, to be honest.

And strange things started happening.

Even SNL spoke about it. And at this point, total stranger who's watching our book, we were totally mindblown.
